Morel is a family business dating back 3 generations, specialising in plastics extrusion and the production of door curtains. Located in the Lons-le-Saunier industrial estate, the company employs 40 people and its premises have a footprint of around 15,000 m². The products of this Jura SME have a strong reputation in diverse and complementary industrial sectors: agri-food, automotive, construction, household appliances, electronics, toys, furniture, etc.

- 1937 Production of the first door curtains made from oval boxwood beads in the turning factory of Edmond MOREL.
- 1955 Purchase of the first extruders for manufacturing door curtains made from plastic strips.
- 1972 Installation on the Lons-le-Saunier industrial estate.
- 1985 The plastic extrusion business expands into industrial subcontracting for the toy, construction and automotive industries.
- 1996 AFAQ ISO 9001 certification for the extrusion department.
- 2008 Launch of the JardiLine® brand: screening and shade sails.
- 2014 Morel SA is established as a leading European manufacturer of screening slats and shade
- 2017 Arrival of the 14th extrusion line - R&D on recycled and bio-sourced materials.
- 2018 The 3rd generation takes over and MOREL SA becomes MOREL SAS.
- 2020 The Jardiline® brand expands with a complete collection of garden furniture.
- 2023 Outdoor rugs add to the Jardiline® collection.
